It features a 30-amp telemetry-capable ESC, specially-tuned outrunner motor, and folding prop, delivering plenty of thrust for fast climbs, soaring altitude, sport flying, and aerobatics.
How long can a 3s LiPo battery last?
The lifespan of a 3s LiPo battery depends on its usage. While they have no expiration dates, excessive use can lead to a lifespan of up to 18 months, according to Sarah Petrova, a hardware engineer at Intel.
Can I use LiPo 2S and 3S batteries together?
Yes, you can use LiPo 2S and 3S batteries together. There is no problem with using the same batteries with different numbers of cells. However, if any ESC is rated 2S, then it isn’t safe to use 3S or above.
How to get telemetry from 3DR solo?
3DR Solo uses smart BMS in each Solo battery which will give battery telemetry to Solo and ground station. There are different ways to get this information. a) Don‘t have telemetry: Solder the battery connectors directly to the Solo board. You need then to use a LiPo alarm and/or timer. It works but it is not what we want.
